                                            Read the text about a beautiful English castle. Complete
                                            the sentences (1-5). Use a maximum of 4 words. Write your
                                            answers in the right-hand column.

                                                             A castle for all seasons


                                            Leeds is one of the oldest and most beautiful castles in
                                            England.

                                            Leeds Castle stands on two small islands, and is surrounded
                                            by a beautiful lake and a quiet parkland.

                                            Inside the castle, expert guides can show you the towers, the
                                            Dog Collar Museum, the magnificent rooms.


                                            Remember that you can’t take photographs.

                                            Outside the castle, you can take woodland walks, visit exotic
                                            gardens, get lost in a maze and a grotto, see waterfalls and
                                            an aviary with more than 100 species of tropical birds.


                                            • Leeds Castle opens at 11 a.m.; last entry at 5:30 p.m.

                                            • Picnic tables are available near the ticket office.

                                            • Only Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs can enter.

                                            Prices are:  Adults                         £11.00
                                                          Seniors and students  £9.50

                                                          Children (4-15 years)  £7.50
